Meet epicure Asia at SIAL Interfood 2026 in Jakarta

Jakarta is gearing up for a November filled with culinary discoveries, industry connections and creative exchange as SIAL Food & Drinks Indonesia 2026 takes place from 4 to 6 November at JIExpo Kemayoran. Marking Indonesia’s entry into the global SIAL network, the exhibition opens new avenues for local food and beverage businesses to connect with international markets while bringing together producers, distributors, buyers and culinary professionals from across the globe.

With more than 1,000 brands expected across 18,000sqm of exhibition space, the three-day event offers a window into the evolving food and beverage landscape. International business matchmaking, product innovation showcases and culinary competitions form part of the programme, reflecting an industry increasingly shaped by cross-border collaboration, changing consumer tastes and a renewed appetite for discovery.

For the epicure Asia community, the exhibition also presents an opportunity to connect beyond the page. Visit the magazine’s booth at Hall B3, Booth G08, during SIAL Interfood 2026 to meet the team, exchange ideas and celebrate the people and stories shaping the region’s food and beverage scene.

Celebrating Asia’s gelato craftsmanship

The culinary conversation continues at the Asian Gelatiere Individual Competition 2026, taking place from 4 to 7 November alongside Krista Interfood 2026 at NICE, PIK 2. Bringing together 10 contestants from across Asia, the competition places individual skill, creativity and technical precision at the centre of the spotlight, celebrating the growing sophistication of the region’s artisanal gelato scene.

The competition’s judging panel brings together international expertise spanning gelato, pastry, culinary media and contemporary food culture. Among the judges is Rizki Pradana, Associate Deputy Editor of epicure Asia, whose perspective from the culinary media landscape will contribute to the evaluation of the contestants’ creations. He joins South Korean gelato master Yoo Siyeon, pastry chef Jason Tan Yirong of Singapore, Indonesian pastry chef Talita Setyadi and culinary media founder Edwin Pangestu.
