Pura Brasa Unveils a New Menu of Charcoal Oven Grilled Spanish Creations

Indulge in charcoal-grilled goodness perfected the Spanish way with Pura Brasa’s new menu featuring a range of tapas, hearty mains and pizzas.

Anchored around the Josper Grill, Spanish restaurant chain Pura Brasa by Chef Lluc presents quintessentially Spanish flavours. Its 120-seater Singapore outlet is its seventh outlet and first-ever overseas outpost.

New signatures to look forward to include Cachena Cattle, the award-winning Spanish beef (Gold Medal Winner at the 2023 World Steak Challenge), celebrated for its succulence, textural qualities and distinctive flavour.

Kick off your meal with new tapas items like the Smoked Wild Tasmanian Abalone. Harvested from the fresh waters of Tasmania, hand-shucked, smoked, and finished on the Josper charcoal grill, the abalone is lightly charred on the outside and still wonderfully succulent.

Other dishes to try include the new Hand-Cut 72-Month Aged Unico Blazquez Ibérico de Bellota Jamón sourced from premium producer Jamones Blázquez. And the Huevos Rotos, a satisfying combination of runny fried eggs, crispy fries and savoury Iberico Sobrasada, crafted from 100% of the loin and pork jowl.

Mains-wise, highly recommended is the Ibérico Secreto – juicy pork charred in Josper charcoal grill and perked up with romesco sauce and a side of confit piquillo peppers. Just as delicious is the Iberico Pork Belly – cooked sous vide for 14 hours and rendered a smoky kiss in the Josper charcoal oven. The dish is complemented by apple purée and a rich teriyaki sauce.

Beyond meats, look out for the Josper-Grilled Red Snapper whose natural sweetness is uplifted by a decadent umami crab sauce. The fish is accompanied by side servings of thinly sliced potatoes. For your carb-fix, share the Carbonara Pizza. Layered atop the crisp pizza crust are thin slices of Ibérico pork belly and mozzarella cheese and balanced with mushroom sauce.

For dessert, Pura Brasa has collaborated exclusively with Korea’s cult-favourite ice cream brand Sobok. Cool off with Sobok’s popular injeolmi iceballs, made of chewy rice cake pieces covered in ice cream, and then rolled in bean powder. For a touch of indulgence, go for the Assorted Sobok Iceballs with Chocolate Combs ($16).

The convivial restaurant located at Guoco Tower (#01-16) is the perfect venue for gatherings and celebrations with friends and co-workers especially during this year-end festive season.
