Standing Stones, The Royal Purnama
The weekend is drawing near and if you are looking for some last-minute inspiration to spend some downtime with your loved one, here’s a suggestion. Standing Stones Restaurant & Beach Lounge at The Royal Purnama Art Suites & Villas will be putting together a five-course wine pairing dinner on 22 March.
Housed within the boutique, oceanfront retreat in Sukawati, southeast Bali, Standing Stones offers an open air beach lounge and a gazebo area with an inviting swimming pool that seems to stretch out to the surrounding sea. Take in magnificent sea view, enjoy live jazz music while dining on exquisite French fare that will be paired with fine wines.
Three culinary talents are collaborating to create the menu: executive chef Made Sujaya (more popularly known as chef Jay) from Standing Stones, executive chef Arief Wicaksono from Azul Beach Club and Made Lugra from Ayung Resort Ubud. You can expect delicious highlights like Cured Jimbaran Red Snapper paired with a Chardonnay from Maule Valley, and the 24-hours Slow Braised Beef Short Rib served with a glass of Cotes Du Rhone Lavau.
The five-course wine pairing dinner is priced at IDR695,000 per person.
