Enjoy plant-based hot dogs from Beyond Sausage at Grand Hyatt Singapore

After introducing vegan burgers from Beyond Burger last year, Grand Hyatt Singapore is all set to add lustre to Singapore’s small but growing plant-based dining scene. This time, the five-star hotel has launched a 100 percent plant-based non-GMO gluten-free and soy-free sausage from Beyond Sausage The hotel is the first in Singapore and South East Asia to launch this new initiative as part of its ongoing aim to serve flavourful plant-based foods.

The hot dogs look impressively like traditional sausages but are made with a mix of peas, fava beans, rice, beet, and coconut oil. Each sausage also contains more protein and less fat (total and saturated) than traditional sausages. The Beyond Sausage Hot Dog ($18) is available at the hotel’s poolside restaurant, Oasis. The frank is grilled and wrapped in a house made vegan bun, finished with dill pickled cucumbers, shallots, with tarragon, mustard and tomato sauce and served with a side of cabbage and French fries.
