This weekend, food artist Ayako Suwa brings emotionally charged creations to the Guerrilla Restaurant at TripleOne Somerset for a sensuous gastronomic journey like no other.

, Feast of feelingsSenses take flight as food artist Ayako Suwa transforms local ingredients into a series of edible artwork this weekend. Assisted by chefs from TripleOne Somerset, each dish in her degustation dinner menu ($85.60) will be charged with emotional essences to elicit strong feelings of pride, excitement, frustration, indecision and radiant contentment. Plus, sales proceeds from the event will be channelled to the Japan Earthquake Relief Fund.

, Feast of feelingsBorn in Ishikawa Japan, Ayako's visceral take on food as a medium began in 2006 with ‘the concept reaches your stomach’, her highly raved about attempt to deliver art that appealed to all senses.

111 of her edible art creations—made from local ingredients such as star anise, rock sugar and curry powder—will be on display at the atrium at level one till 24 July.
