Lawry’s The Prime Rib may be pegged as an all-American steakhouse, but its recently launched Royal Tea is an ode to the long-standing British tradition.
Served from Mondays to Saturdays from 2.30 to 5pm, the tea comprises savoury petites like roasted chicken bruschetta, prime beef Yorkshire roll-up, juicy shrimp croissants and delicate finger sandwiches with desserts such as crème brûlée, carrot cake, banana chocolate parfait, strawberry trifle and homemade scones with Devonshire cream – all on a two-tier silver stand.
