November 2017 Cellar Choice

Pont des Arts Grand Vin de Bordeaux Lalande-de-Pomerol 2014

Art: Yan Pei-Ming, Blue portrait of the artist, 2016
For the fifth collection of Pont des Arts, this 2014 Pomerol from the Pontallier family exudes well-wrought red and black fruit. The blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc is a classic marriage of freshness and balance, together with structure and elegance that will cellar well. $298 from JR Asia (expected release in December)
