‘World of Spirits’ Zone returns, while homegrown brews and global wines converge to showcase Hong Kong’s strength as a regional hub for the wine and spirits trade.
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 18th Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair (Wine & Spirits Fair) will take place from 5 to 7 November (Thursday to Saturday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. This year’s fair brings together over 600 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions, presenting a diverse selection of fine wines, spirits and related products.

Notably, the fair welcomes exhibitors from new and distinctive wine regions, including Slovakia, Mexico, Portugal and Georgia. The wine selection encompasses classic Old World and New World red wines, white wines, sparkling wines, natural wines and organic wines. The exhibition also features Chinese baijiu, whisky, brandy, vodka, sake, beer, as well as highly anticipated low- and no-alcohol beverages.

‘World of Spirits’ Zone Enters Second Year with Strong Line-Up of Top Chinese Baijiu
Driven by robust demand in the premium spirits market, the fair presents the ‘World of Spirits’ zone for the second year, bringing together spirits from 15 countries and regions. Covering a comprehensive range of categories, visitors can find virtually every spirit imaginable, including Chinese baijiu, whisky, brandy, vodka, rum, tequila, Korean soju, gin and various emerging spirits, helping global spirits brands expand internationally and tap into new markets.

Chinese baijiu continues to hold a prominent position at the fair, with 10 internationally renowned brands represented —including Yanghe, Moutai, Wuliangye, Luzhou Laojiao, Fenjiu, Jiannanchun, Langjiu, Gujinggongjiu, Xijiu and Swellfun—demonstrating the deep heritage and innovative vitality of traditional baijiu culture. As a vital gateway connecting the Chinese mainland with the rest of the world, Hong Kong provides an exceptional platform for mainland enterprises going global.

A series of engaging spirits-themed events will be featured during the fair: On Day 2 (6 November), the fair will collaborate with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to present “Geonbae (건배) from Korea”, showcasing the unique charm of Korea’s signature spirits through bespoke cocktails and business networking sessions. On Day 3 (7 November, Public Day), the fair will launch the “Canton Pop Party” in collaboration with Madame Figaro at The Gallery, creating a high-energy live DJ music experience. Fusing fine spirits with music culture, this event offers a vibrant new social experience for the younger generation.

Rise of Homegrown Brands Showcases Hong Kong Craftsmanship and Creativity
The fair fully supports homegrown brands in expanding international business opportunities, with several local pioneers making a grand appearance to present Hong Kong’s unique flavours and exquisite brewing craftsmanship. Featured brands include popular local gin brand N.I.P Gin, Hong Kong’s first whisky distillery, Kowloon Distilling Company, and Hung’s Family Jiang-Flavour Spirits, founded by artist Timmy Hung, which fuses Hong Kong action cinema culture with traditional Moutai-town brewing techniques.

‘Service Zone’ Introduces AI Sommelier and Tech Automation
To promote smart development in the wine and spirits industry, this year’s fair features a dedicated Service Zone, introducing forward-looking technology and professional investment services. Highlights include Woodlance, offering whisky investment and trading services, and XOXO Beverages, demonstrating automated cocktail machines to showcase high-efficiency mixology.
