TWG Tea is putting a fresh focus on white tea with a new collection of more than 30 varieties, bringing together single-estate harvests, original blends, and tea flowers. Leading the selection is White Night Jasmine Tea, which pairs delicate Yin Zhen tips with the fragrance of jasmine flowers. The tea comes in a hand-sewn 100 percent cotton teabag, packed with whole leaves to retain the character of the loose-leaf tea in a convenient format.
White tea is made from the youngest buds of early spring harvest, which are gently withered and dried rather than heavily processed. This leaves the silvery buds intact and produces a light-coloured infusion with a naturally delicate profile. Yin Zhen Silver Needle and Pai Mu Tan are among its most recognised expressions, prized for their clarity and understated character.

For TWG Tea, however, delicacy does not have to mean limitation, especially with white tea. The new range explores how far white tea can travel without losing what makes it distinctive. In a first for the brand, rare Yin Zhen is used as the foundation for blends with fruits, blossoms, and citrus. Alongside White Night Jasmine Tea, the repertoire includes White Sky Tea, 1837 White Tea, and Double Happiness Tea, among others.

That spirit of experimentation continues with TWG Tea Teddies, where white tea moves from infusion to confectionery. These tea-infused fruit gums use white tea as their base before introducing berries, citrus fruits, and spices, giving the ingredient an unexpectedly playful form while retaining its refined character.
The collection is accompanied by a White Tea short film, which follows the ingredient from early spring days to the moment it becomes an infusion. Rather than presenting white tea simply as a finished drink, the film turns its attention to the work and natural process behind each cup, offering a visual portrait of its rarity, craftsmanship, and enduring appeal. Together, the collection and film mark TWG Tea’s continued effort to bring a centuries-old category into contemporary tea culture.
