For families seeking a slower way to celebrate Golden Week, Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts is bringing the occasion to the clifftops of Ungasan with a seven-day programme centred on food, wellbeing, culture and togetherness. Taking place from 1 to 7 October 2026, the programme moves between the resort’s restaurants, private villas, Lohma Spa and Anjali Kids Club, allowing families to create their own rhythm rather than follow a fixed itinerary.
Set against the Indian Ocean, the resort’s Golden Week offering reflects its emphasis on meaningful experiences rooted in Bali. From long dinners shared around the table to mornings dedicated to yoga and afternoons filled with creative activities, the week is designed to leave room for both connection and quiet moments.

A golden week around the table
Food takes centre stage throughout the programme, with a series of experiences that move from convivial family-style dinners to intimate meals enjoyed within the privacy of a villa.
At Commune Restaurant, the Family-Style Golden Week Dinner runs from 1 to 7 October, offering Chinese-inspired flavours, festive specialities and live entertainment. Served from 6pm to 10pm, the experience is priced at IDR 1,125,000++ per person, with children aged six to 12 priced at IDR 562,500++ per child.
On 2 October, the Gala Seafood Barbecue Dinner brings fresh ocean catches to live cooking stations, accompanied by live music. The dinner is priced at IDR 800,000++ per person, or IDR 400,000++ for children aged six to 12.
For a more private celebration, the Private Villa Barbecue Experience brings an intimate barbecue directly to guests’ accommodation. Prepared and served within the villa, the experience is designed around personalised service and a relaxed outdoor setting, priced at IDR 3,500,000++ per couple.
Daytime dining is equally unhurried. Umana Bali’s signature Floating Breakfast delivers a curated selection to each villa’s private pool, available from 7am to 11am throughout Golden Week at IDR 515,000++ per person.
Elsewhere, afternoons at MER Lounge invite guests to linger over a Coffee & Wine Tasting, while the Balinese Arak Discovery Tasting at PAD Bar introduces the island’s celebrated spirit through cocktails and tastings overlooking the ocean.

A week of renewal at Lohma Spa
Beyond the dining table, Golden Week takes a restorative turn at Lohma Spa, where movement, traditional therapies and sound-based wellness form another thread of the programme.
The Prosperity Spa Journey, available from 1 to 7 October, begins with a 60-minute Indigenous Massage before continuing with a Boreh or Lulur Body Polish, wellness refreshment and a Lucky Red Envelope containing spa surprises and special rewards. The experience is priced at IDR 2,400,000++ per person.
For those looking to begin the day with movement, Harmony Yoga Flow takes place each morning from 7.30am to 8.30am at the relaxation pool on the spa’s first floor. The gentle practice combines mindful breathing with flowing postures and is complimentary for guests.
There is further space for stillness through Group Sound Healing on 2 and 5 October. Held at the Indoor Yoga Pavilion, the sessions use crystal singing bowls, chimes and gentle vibrational instruments to encourage relaxation, clarity and balance.

Golden Week through a child’s eyes
Younger guests have their own programme at Anjali Kids Club, where Golden Week becomes an opportunity to explore creativity and Balinese culture. The daily programme includes Nature Yoga Adventure, Mini Lantern Decoration, Palm Leaf Weaving, Balinese Dance Lesson, Bahasa Indonesia, Little Gamelan Players and Creative Origami.
Each day brings another hands-on workshop. Children can create Golden Wishes Bracelets on 1 October, make a Golden Cultural Keben on 2 October, decorate cookies on 3 October, learn to make a Canang Sari on 4 October, paint a piggy bank on 5 October, design a Lucky Kite on 6 October and finish the week with Golden Duck Painting on 7 October. Each workshop is priced at IDR 175,000++ per child, with advance reservations required.
The programme gives families the flexibility to experience Golden Week differently throughout the day. Parents might begin with a quiet morning at Lohma Spa, gather around the table for dinner at Commune and leave the afternoon to the younger members of the family at Anjali Kids Club.

Golden Week on the Ungasan cliffs
Perched atop the limestone cliffs of Ungasan, Umana Bali is home to 72 all-pool villas, including a 403-square-metre large villa category, with views extending across the Indian Ocean and surrounding tropical landscape. The resort describes its hospitality philosophy through the Balinese concept of Tri Hita Karana, bringing together Nature, People and Spirituality in a contemporary luxury setting.
For Golden Week, that philosophy takes shape through experiences designed less around a packed schedule and more around spending meaningful time together. Whether it is a shared seafood dinner, a floating breakfast, a Balinese-inspired children’s workshop or an hour of restorative yoga, the programme leaves space for families to decide what the week means to them.
