This Chinese Golden Week, that familiar ritual takes on a Balinese setting as Tangelo Bali at Cicada Resort Bali Ubud, Autograph Collection presents The Golden Table, an exclusive dining experience created in collaboration with Haidilao Bali.
Taking place from 2 to 4 October 2026 from 5:30pm onwards, the three-day celebration brings together Haidilao’s renowned hot pot tradition with the peaceful surroundings of Sebatu and Tangelo Bali’s signature evening atmosphere. The result is an intimate dining experience shaped around comforting flavours, considered hospitality, live performances and the simple pleasure of gathering around a shared table.
Founded in Jianyang, Sichuan, in 1994, Haidilao has grown into a globally recognised name in hot pot dining, with a hospitality philosophy centred around attentive service, quality ingredients and meaningful connections. Its approach extends beyond the food itself, embracing innovative concepts and personalised care under its philosophy of Happy, Deliver, and Limitless.
For The Golden Table, Tangelo Bali brings this philosophy into a more intimate setting. Rather than simply presenting a hot pot meal, the experience has been thoughtfully curated so that each selection is prepared and presented directly at the table, allowing diners to settle into the evening without distraction.
At the heart of the experience is a specially curated Hot Pot Package, featuring Haidilao’s signature Szechuan Mala Soup and Three Combination Soup, with Mala Susu Soup available as an additional option. The broths are accompanied by a selection of ingredients including US Shortplate Beef, Samcan Babi Bali, Basa Fish Fillet, Shrimp Paste, Tofu Skin, Bell Roll, Pakcoy, Enoki Mushroom and Cheese Fish Tofu.
The setting adds another layer to the experience. Nestled within the lush landscapes of Sebatu and Tegallalang, Cicada Resort Bali Ubud is conceived as a sanctuary for wellness and self-discovery, with its natural surroundings and Balinese cultural influences informing the guest experience. Its philosophy draws on Tri Hita Karana, the Balinese principle of harmony between people, nature and the spiritual realm.
At Tangelo Bali, the evening unfolds with a different live performance each night. Saxo Night takes place on Friday, followed by Nusantara Night on Saturday and Acoustic Night on Sunday, providing a changing soundtrack to the three-day celebration. Together with the warm ambience of Tangelo Bali and its Balinese hospitality, the programming is designed to create an evening that feels both familiar and distinctive.
